Moringa is the leaf of Moringa oleifera, a fast-growing tree native to the foothills of the Himalayas. In the regions where it grows, it has so many traditional uses — leaves, pods, seeds, root — that it’s known locally as the « tree of life ». Sampson uses the dried leaf, which brews a soft, slightly green-vegetal cup somewhere between matcha and a herbal infusion.
Naturally caffeine-free, gently sweet, and rounder than a plain herbal infusion thanks to the supporting blend. Drinks well any time of day; the cup reads green without going grassy.

How to Brew

Measure
One heaped teaspoon (about 2g) per 8oz cup. The cut is light by volume — fill the spoon properly.

Heat the Water
Bring water to a full boil — 100°C / 212°F. Herbal infusions need higher heat to release their flavour.

Steep 5–7 Minutes
Cover the cup if you can. Five minutes for a softer cup, seven for fuller body. Moringa won’t go bitter even on a long steep.
