Description
🌿 Herbal☕ Caffeine-Free🍓 Berry & Citrus🌿 Loose Leaf
A bright caffeine-free cup — raspberry pieces brushed with the bright citrus of lemon verbena.
Lemon verbena is the citrus herb most chefs reach for when lemon zest is too sharp and lemon balm too soft. Pair it with raspberry — slightly tart, slightly sweet — and you get a cup that drinks like fruit cordial without the sugar. Naturally caffeine-free, gentle enough for a third refill.
Drinks well hot in spring afternoons, exceptional iced when summer turns the kitchen warm. The cup brews a soft pink and tastes the way it looks — bright, fruity, alive.

Tasting Notes
🍋
Lemon Verbena
Aroma
Bright, slightly green, the smell of lemon-zest scrubbed across a fresh leaf. Less sharp than lemongrass, more lifted than lemon balm.
🍓
Tart Raspberry
Body
Real berry pieces re-hydrate as the tea steeps, releasing a slightly tart, slightly sweet middle that the verbena lifts. The cup tastes like fruit, not like flavoured water.
✨
Soft Sweet Finish
Aftertaste
Naturally sweet from the berry, no sugar required. The cup ends clean — no bitterness, no aftertaste of dried herbs.
How to Brew
01
Measure
One heaped teaspoon (about 2g) per 8oz cup. The blend is light by volume — fill the spoon properly.
02
Heat the Water
Bring water to a full boil — 100°C / 212°F. Herbal infusions need higher heat than tea leaves.
03
Steep 5–7 Minutes
Cover the cup if you can — the verbena’s aromatics are volatile. Five minutes for a softer cup, seven for fuller fruit body.

Per Cup
1 heaped tsp
Stunning iced: brew double-strength, pour over ice with a slice of fresh lemon and a few raspberries. Drinks like a homemade berry-lemonade — no sugar required.
About the Tea
🌺
Hibiscus & Rose Hips
The Body
Tart hibiscus and naturally sweet rose hips form the base — they give the cup its rosy colour and the slightly tart, slightly sweet character that supports the berry.
🍓
Raspberry Pieces
The Berry
Real dried raspberry folded through the blend. Re-hydrates as the tea steeps and adds the soft, ripe middle — not just colour, real fruit.
🍋
Lemon Verbena
The Lift
Cut lemon verbena leaves give the cup its bright top note — a herbal lemon character closer to fresh fruit than to flavour oil. The lift that turns a fruity tisane into a cordial-style cup.
In the tin
Hibiscus, rose hips, raspberry pieces, lemon verbena, natural raspberry flavour.
Origin & Sourcing
A caffeine-free fruit-and-herb blend built around hibiscus, rose hips, real raspberry pieces and lemon verbena. Brewed in small batches for the Sampson shelf — the kind of cup that drinks like fruit cordial without the sugar.
